Article Processing Charges (APC)

Authors are required to complete and submit the registration form along with the applicable Article Processing Charges (APC) in order to publish their accepted paper in the International Journal of Education and Development Studies (IJEDS).

There is no charge for the submission or peer-review process. APCs are payable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

The applicable APC must be paid within ten (10) working days of receiving the acceptance notification.

Applicable Article Processing Charges

Up to 20 pages: USD ($) 350

Please note:

For manuscripts exceeding 20 pages, an additional charge of USD ($) 15 per page will apply.
The maximum allowable length is 25 pages, inclusive of references and appendices.

Upon payment of the APC, author(s) are entitled to:

Publication of the paper in the next available volume and issue of IJEDS.
Receipt of a soft (electronic) copy of the journal after publication.

Number of Authors

As per journal policy, manuscripts with more than four (4) authors will not be accepted, except in the case of technical or large-scale collaborative research papers.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Authors should note that APC payments are intended to cover administrative, processing, and publication costs only and have no influence on the peer-review process or acceptance decision.

Refund Policy

If a manuscript is not accepted for publication, any APC paid in advance will be refunded minus a USD ($) 50 administrative charge, within six (6) weeks of submission of the completed refund form (sent with the rejection notification).
If a manuscript is accepted and the author(s) later decide to withdraw the paper after payment, the following refund policy applies:
- Withdrawal within 4 weeks of final acceptance: 50% refund
- Withdrawal after 4 weeks of final acceptance: 25% refund
- Withdrawal after 6 weeks of final acceptance: No refund

Please note that international bank transfer and transaction charges will be deducted from any refunded amount.

Payment Methods

Online Payment

IJEDS uses PayPal Merchant Services for online payments. Online payment via PayPal is the preferred method as it is secure, fast, and protected through encrypted security measures.

A USD ($) 15 service charge must be added to the APC when paying via PayPal.
